13 photographs of Jerusalem by the Bonfils photography workshop. Jerusalem, [last decades of the 19th century].
The photographs show various sites in Jerusalem: the façade of the Church of the Holy Sepulchre and the church's interior, Via Dolorosa, the Valley of Josaphat, a view of Jerusalem from the Mount of Olives, the Golden Gate and more.
All of the photographs except one are signed and titled in the plate (in French).
21.5X28 cm. Good-fair overall condition. Creases and light stains. Tears to margins, including small open tears. Strips of adhesive tape on verso of one photograph. Handwritten inscriptions on verso of three photographs.
