The collection contains numerous photographs of Jerusalem and its different sites: The Temple Mount, the Mount of Olives, a panorama of Jerusalem, the Mary Magdalene Church on the Mount of Olives, the Church of Saint Anne, Jaffa Gate, the Sebil on El-Wad road, Jews in Jerusalem and more; the Mar Saba Monastery, Jaffa seen from the sea, Ramla, Druze on Mount Carmel and more.
All the photographs (except two) are signed in the plate and most are titled in the plate in French. All the photographs except one are mounted on cardboard boards in varying sizes; on some boards, photographs are mounted on both sides.
One of the photographs, a studio photograph of a woman, was taken by Hippolyte Arnoux (a photographer who worked in Egypt). The photograph is signed in the plate and titled "Jewish woman" on the board.
30 photographs, approx. 21X26 cm to 22.5X28.5 cm. Good to fair overall condition. Creases. Stains. Minor blemishes. Some peeling. Some small open tears. Faded signatures and captions. The boards are in fair condition, with stains and breaks. Adhesive tape on the margins of many of the boards.
