Avraham Abish (Abishel) Horowitz, Rabbi of Carei (1897-1944; perished in the Holocaust), son of Rebbe Naftali Horowitz of Melitz (1845-1915) and son-in-law of Rebbe Yitzchak Eizik Weiss of Spinka (1875-1944), author of Chakal Yitzchak. Served as Rabbi of Spinka in place of his father-in-law during World War I.
