Collection of Architectural Documents and Drawings – Workers' Housing Project in Tel-Aviv

Opening: $100
Unsold
Collection of architectural documents and drawings regarding the building of an "Urban Workers' Housing Project" (possibly "Shechunat Po'alim Aleph") in Tel-Aviv, [late 1920s and 1930s until the 1960s].
Collection includes material from the period of the establishment of the Workers' Housing Project in Tel-Aviv, (one of the famous couple in the neighborhood were Pola and David Ben-Gurion). Some of the documents date before the establishment of the neighborhood: acquisition of land, temporary member card, many architectural drawings, copies of letters about building houses, numerous receipts for donations and payments to JNF for the land. Most of the material concerns the building of a house on HaYarkon Street on the edge of the neighborhood, which started in Ben-Yehudah Street and ended there. Lot includes dozens of documents and drawings + dozens of receipts. Included are later materials from the 1950s-60s. Size and condition vary.
