B'tzait Yisrael MiMitzrayim - Sections from the Torah and Aggada - A Handwritten and Illustrated Book, 1958

Opening: $2,500
Unsold
B'tzait Yisrael MiMitzrayim, sections from the Torah and Aggada. Compiled, illustrated and written by: Debby ben Dor. Bezalel School, Jerusalem, 1958.
Compilation of various sections on the subject of Children of Israel leaving the Land of Egypt, written in calligraphic handwriting on thick Bristol paper, with original colored illustrations (various techniques: markers, watercolors, graphite / coal on paper).
Apparently, this work was done as a "term paper" by the artist Debby ben Dor at the end of his studies at the Bezalel School of Art (perhaps, in the Department of Writing or Practical Graphics Department).
An impressive work, both typographically and from the aspect of the illustrations that depict personal commentary in very high quality levels of performance and finishing in modernistic style. To our best knowledge, the compilation and illustrations were never published. [16] thick paper leaves with hand-made texture, fabric binding 35 cm, with original illustrations and writing. Good condition.
