Among the books of the Hassid Rabbi Avraham David Lavut Av-Beit-Din of Nikolayev:
1. Beit Aharon Vehosafot, index on the Talmud and Midrashim of the Sages on the Torah. Vilna, 1880. First edition. Approbation of the Admor Rabbi Shmuel of Lubavitz. Stamp and signature of the author “Avraham David Lavut Dayan of the congregation of Nikolayev”.
Various stamps and ownership notations, among them: signature and stamp of Rabbi Avraham Ezriel. The stamp of Rabbi Asher Anshil Weiss, Av-Beit-Din of Nadi-Palo, notations and signatures of his sons: the Holy Chaim Aharon Weiss [Av-Beit-Din of Heildmash], the Holy Yehudah Menachem Weiss, the Holy Yissachar Dov and the Holy Ya’akov Eliyahu. Author: the Ga’on Rabbi Avraham David Lavut (1815-1890), disciple of the Tzemach Tzedek and among the greatest rabbis and Hassidim of Chabad. Served in the rabbinate for forty years in the city of Nikolayev. Author of the books Sha’ar HaKolel on the composition of Admor HaZaken, Kav VeNaki and Beit Aharon Vehosafot.
His granddaughter, Rabbanit Chana Schneerson, mother of the Rabbi of Lubavitz, edited the books of his grandfather, published them under Kehot Publications and wrote his biography in the introduction. See attached material.
