Rabbi Yitzhak Kaduri was born at the end of the 19th century in Baghdad, studied the Torah and Kabbalah with the sages of Baghdad and Jerusalem, where he immigrated in 1922. During his early years in Jerusalem he worked as a bookbinder and studied at the Beit El and Porat Yosef yeshivas. Over the years he became known as the most learned scholar in all spheres of Kaballah. Many came to his home to receive his blessing and advice, and to receive amulets (he was one of the few people in his generation versed in the secrets of the amulets according to the Kabbalah). He died at the advanced age of over 100, in 2006.
