243, 247-248 leaves. Lacking leaves 244-246, 249-252 with conclusion of the book and about 20 additional leaves at end with Shabbat prayers. 22 cm. Fair condition. Stains, including dampstains and ink stains. Wear and creases. Tears and open tears, including open tear to first title page, affecting title frame, repaired with paper, and tears to other leaves, slightly affecting text, repaired with tape. Close trimming, slightly affecting text of several leaves. Stamps. Old binding, worn.


Not documented in Bibliography of the Hebrew Book (entry 000202445 records a similar edition of 1866, but also does not record the Bereshit part). The copy appearing in the NLI catalogue is also incomplete (the end of the prayer leaves).
