Manuscript, Kaf HaChaim, from Siman 18 till Siman 24, Hilchot Tzizit, in the handwriting of the author, Rabbi Ya'akov Chaim Sofer.
Autographic writing, with erasing and corrections. The last Siman (24) is signed by the Gaon with one word of his name Chaim which is emphasized with block letters.
The Mekubal Rabbi Ya'akov Chaim Sofer (1870-1939, Otzar HaRabbanim 10071a), born in Babylonia, disciple of Rabbi Abdullah Somech and Rabbi Yosef Chaim author of Ben Ish Chai. A renowned scholar of Babylonia and Jerusalem and a great posek. He is celebrated for his series of books Kaf HaChaim, wherein he arranged and compiled rulings of laws and customs in the order of the Shulchan Aruch. He was a great mekubal and studied kabbala together with his companion Rabbi Yehuda Petaya and the Rav HaSadeh. In his book Kaf HaChaim, he integrates many customs which are according to the kabbala.
