De Haan (1881-1924), jurist, journalist and poet, born in Holland. Zionist activist, Baal Teshuva, immigrated to Eretz Israel and joined the Haredi congregation in Jerusalem. He arranged, among other things, a Haredi expedition to Emir Abdullah, king of Jordan, as part of his endeavors to hinder the Zionist plan.
