1. Tziltzelei Shama – A Hebrew Literary Anthology. Charkov, 1923.
One of the four literary anthologies published under great hardships in Communist Russia, after the use of Hebrew was prohibited. Anthology contains pieces by young Hebrew poets and prose authors, who wished to express the new reality in the ancient language. A rare example of Hebrew creation in the Soviet Union. Printed in only 100 copies.
32 pages, 13x17.5 cm. Very good condition, modern hard cover.
2. Zalbafert – Moshe Broderzon, Gershon Broido, Menashe Heilprin, Daniel Charni. Lebn Publishers, Moscow, 1918.
Early Yiddish anthology by the four modernist Jewish poets. Printed in the last few months they spent in Bolshevik Moscow.
32 pages, very good condition. Torn spine, amateur restoration with adhesive tape.
