Enamel plate decorated with a female figure. [Syria or Kurdistan, late 19th century or beginning of 20th century].
Enamel and brass.
The plate is decorated with a figure of a woman wearing a hat. Her body colored in white and her clothing and face in blue. On her chest the Hebrew letters ע ה (maybe abbreviation for evil eye?). In the background a depiction of a flower. The style of the decoration is naive. On the rim of the plate enamel decorations in white and pink.
Diameter: 14 cm, some enamel settings fell from the plate's rim.
