57 postcards, most with a title, short Yiddish rhyming stanza or epigram. Most of the postcards were published by Central or by Synaj, Warsaw, [first decades of the 20th century]. A number of postcards have no note of publisher and one was published by Williamsburg Art Co. NY.
The postcards portray subjects from Biblical sources, art, Jewish and Hebrew authors, parents and their children and loving couples. Most are described in Yiddish and a minority in Hebrew.
9X14 cm. Overall good condition. Minor tears to margins of some postcards. Creases. Defects. Four postcards are used. Some appear in multiple copies.
