A wide variety of photographs featuring ships, industrial facilities, agricultur, the establishment of settlements, Hagana and Israel Defense Forces soldiers, and Military Police soldiers. Other photographs show David Ben Gurion at official ceremonies, Chaim Weizmann with US President Harry Truman, Meyer Weisgal, and Vera Weizmann.
Some of the photographs are marked with the inked stamps of the photographers Oskar Tauber, Rudolf Jonas, Birkenfeld (Trude & Egon Birkenfeld); some are marked with the inked stamps of the State of Israel Intelligence Services or the Israel Government Press Office. Some are accompanied by partial captions, comments, or other marks on recto or verso.
Size varies, ranging from approx. 12X13 to approx. 18X13 cm. Overall good condition. Traces of glue to verso of some photos.
