The collection contains: * Letters in Hebrew and English sent to Beila Mairzon by British soldiers (some are Jewish). Ca. 1942-1945. Many letters were sent from soldiers in the Royal Electrical and Mechanical Engineers – R.E.M.E. * Letter from Mairzon to her friend Mordechai Levdansky who served in the R.E.M.E. * Letters to and from Beila Mairzon's family and friends in Palestine, written in Hebrew and Yiddish. Enclosed are most of the original envelopes in which the letters were sent.
