Collection of handwritten leaves, novellae on Tractate Bava Metiza - folio 2-5, 29 pages handwritten by R. Nachum (Weisfish) of Shadik (Szadek). Jerusalem, 1847.
R. Nachum Rabbi of Shadik (1813-1868), disciple of the Chemdat Shlomo. Served as rabbi of Shadik, Poland for several years, and immigrated to Eretz Israel in 1843 where he founded Yeshivat HaRan and lectured before leading young Torah scholars in Jerusalem.
This work was presumably composed while learning with his disciples in Yeshivat HaRan.
[15] leaves (29 pages handwritten by R. Nachum of Shadik). 21.5 cm. Browned paper. Fair-good condition. Stains and wear. Detached leaves. Marginal damage to text.
