Collection of issues of Jewish journals that were printed in England. London and Manchester, mid-19th century to early 20th century. English and a little Hebrew.
1. The Hebrew review and magazine for Jewish literature, a journal edited by Marcus Heinrich Breslau. London, 1859-1860. Issues 1-48, bound together in one volume.
Contain passages of literature, philosophy and Jewish history as well as English translations of Jewish texts (including Moses Mendelsohn's book "Or LeNetivah").
768 pp (the title page of the volume is missing), 20 cm. Good condition. Gilt edges. A few stains. Several leaves are detached. The first leaf is detached and reinforced with a sticker. Blue binding with gilt decorations, damaged in its margins and spine, with writing on its inside.
2. Issue no. 1 of Palestina, the Chovevi Zion Quarterly. London: Chovevi Zion Association, 1892.
Contains articles about the Yishuv in Palestine, fundraising, quarterly reports, and more.

3. Degel Zion - The Zionist, a Zionist journal edited by Harry Sacher and Leon (Aryeh) Simon. [Manchester?]. 1911-1913. All the issues of the second and third years (twelve issues per year), bound in two separate volumes.
