The family survived the Holocaust under the Nazi regime, and immigrated to Eretz Israel in 1950, after attempting to receive an emigration visa to the USA.
Collection includes: 15 travel documents, employment authorization and food notepad. * 15 postcards sent from Poland to USA, with postage stamps and ink-stamps of the Nazi regime, 1940-1941. * 16 postcards and letters sent from Dukla, Poland to USA, 1939-1946. * 15 letters and documents, 1946-1949 - correspondence with Polish authorities and the Jewish agency (Polish). * 60 stamped and postmarked envelopes (without letters), sent from Lodz to Connecticut, USA, 1946-1949. * Correspondence with USA authorities, 1945 (German). * 5 original photographs of gravestones of the family in Dukla.
