A large collection of prayers, most of them issued by London Jewish communities and several by the Manchester community, for different occasions: end of the second Boer War, end of World War I, end of World War II, Persecution of German Jews, for the wellbeing of soldiers in World Wars; births, deaths and coronations of members of the royal family, electing a mayor in Manchester, inauguration of synagogues, for the success of the "Palestine Commission" (1939), appointment of rabbis, passing of community members, and more.
60 booklets and leaves (one booklet appears in two copies). Size and condition vary. Good overall condition.
