Esrim VeArbaa - Five Books of the Torah, with Neviim Rishonim, Acharonim and Ketuvim, "…without vocalization… was meticulously proofread". Amsterdam: Gerardus Borstius and partners, [1701].
Three title pages, the first one is decorated with a copper-engraving, depicting Moshe, Aharon and the Holy of Holies. The second title page is in Hebrew and the third, in Latin. Latin foreword and Hebrew poem.
Two columns per page. This Bible edition from 1701 was used by R. Aryeh Levin for the Goral HaGra, in accordance with the special tradition on how to perform the Goral, transmitted to him from the Gaon of Vilna, via his teachers, deans of the Volozhin yeshiva.
[6], 292 leaves, 293-306, [4] pages. 14.5 cm. Colored edges. Good condition. Stains. Old leather binding, slightly rubbed, with a flap closure (without the loop).
