Portfolio with 10 lithographs - illustrations for the work by British essayist Thomas de Quincey, "Levana and our Ladies of Sorrow". Each lithograph is mounted on passe-partout and signed in pencil by the artist. The portfolio also includes a small booklet with de Quincey's essay. The booklet is numbered 7/12 (out of an edition totalling 212 copies), signed by the artist and the publisher.
[10] lithographs, [16] pp. Booklet: 21X16 cm, lithographs: 33X25 cm, mounted on 46X36 cm passe-partout. The corners of some of the passe-partout leaves are missing, without damage to lithographs. The portfolio (made of light blue cloth with a gilt illustration and caption) is worn, with damage to corners and edges and a number of light stains. One of the strings used to tie the portfolio is missing.
