Beit Avraham, ethical will of R. Avraham Danzig, author of Chayei Adam. Vilna, 1821. First edition.
The author, R. Avraham Danzig (1748-1821), was renowned for his famous work Chayei Adam. He served as dayan in Vilna and was the mechutan of the Gaon of Vilna (father-in-law of the granddaughter of the Gaon of Vilna, daughter of R. Yehuda Leib son of the Gaon of Vilna).
The ethical will of the Chayei Adam was later reprinted in many editions (by 1960, over twenty editions had been printed).
