Rebbe Shalom Moskovitch (1877-1958), rabbi of Shotz and teacher of R. Meir Shapiro of Lublin (founder of the Daf HaYomi). Rebbe in London from 1927. In his will, he pledged to arouse Heavenly mercy on whoever would visit his gravesite, light two candles in memory of his soul, and undertake to strengthen himself in a mitzva or in Torah study.
[1], 75, 14, [4] leaves. Leaves 19-20 bound in opposite order. 37 cm. Overall good condition. Stains. Marginal open tears to a few leaves, not affecting text (partially repaired with paper). Worming (including large hole through many leaves), affecting text. Stamps. New leather binding.
