Letters by the prisoner in Devils Island, handed to print by Avraham Shalom Friedberg. Warsaw, 1898.
"All the letters, written by Captain Alfred Dreyfus in his own handwriting to his wife from the site of his prison, as well as all the letters he sent to her from his exile in Devils Island for four years until the last days".
The book was printed during the period in which Dreyfus was in prison on Devils Island. Name of translator from French into Hebrew is unknown.
112 pages, 20.5 cm. Fair-good condition. Stains. Pencil inscriptions, library-ink stamps. Tears to edges of binding.

Book of caricatures by Caran d'ache (pseudonym of Emmanuel Poiré, 1858-1909)' French artist and painter of political caricatures, a pioneer of the art of comics and caricature.
The caricatures in this book relate to the "Panama Case", the most significant economic corruption case in the Third French Rrepublic in the year 1892 (the French government was bribed to keep as a secret the economic hardships of the "Panama Channel Society").
Most figures that are seen holding money bills or bribe are with anti-semitic characteristics (fat people, long noses or people in disguise). The book's leaves look like bank checks. French.
[24] leaves, 27.5 X 12.5 cm. Good condition. Few stains. Restored binding a little loose and damaged.

It is said, that people believe that there are no Jews in Aberdeen at all, but in fact there is a Jew by the name of Isaac Levi, who sometimes presents himself as Donald McSforn and wears a Scotish kilt. This Levi was arrested in the past by the police, and is under its supervision. The text continues in a humoristic style, that Levi tells many stories against his own people, alike other Jews, and that this booklet brings these stories.

Photographs presenting Jews handling jewelry and Jews of wealthy families, alongside poor or crippled Jews. Texts by the Belgian Nazi politician Jef van de Wiele (1903-1979). Van de Wiele was sentenced to death after World War II, charged with collaboration with the Nazis, but finally his punishment was exchanged for life in Prison. After 17 years in prison he was discharged and settled in West Germany.
