Dr. Natan Petachya (Karpel) Lippa (1830-1915), a doctor and Jewish publicist, lived most of his life in Romania, an eminent Zionist activist in Yassi, President and the elderly member of the First Zionist Congress who held the opening speech of the congress. See item 612 in this catalogue.
