Printed on the right side are the event's details: "In Ir Ganim grove in Talpiot, and in the kindergarten halls, a grand ball… folk dancing in the grove around an electric bonfire… special buses will serve guests from Tel-Aviv and the colonies, some of the revenues will be dedicated to the opening of a kindergarten in the Old City of Jerusalem which was closed due to lack of funds".

Five of the JNF roles are listed on the left - redemption of the land, drying swamps, water supply, forestation, and preparing land for settlement - with information indicating how successful JNF was in fulfilling its roles. The poster calls for donations to buy land for the establishment of Kibbutz Kfar HaMaccabi. The initiative to establish the kibbutz came from several "Maccabi HaTza'ir" members from Germany and Czechoslovakia (supported and assisted by Menachem Ussishkin who, during the first Maccabia, in 1932, raised the idea of Maccabia participants building a settlement in Palestine). The JNF entrusted "Maccabi" World Union with raising the funds to purchase land for the kibbutz. The kibbutz was established in 1936 in Zevulun valley, near Kiryat Ata.

Illustration in color, portraying a man behind a barbed wire fence. The poster calls to mark the "Prisoner's and Detainee's Day" on Tamuz 11, and join the association "La'Asirenu" - an association founded by the Jewish National Council and was acting for Jewish prisoners and detainees during the last years of the British Mandate in Palestine (among other operations, the association acted to return to Palestine the Etzel and Lehi exiles).

The poster calls on the state's residents to enlist and protect their homeland and its well-being: "In a time of a supreme ordeal, a time of a malicious attack by enemies, the Provisional Government takes the rule of Israel into its hands"; "We have been thrust into a cruel war. But let us remember: within the confines of our state, citizens of Arab origin will continue to live - and for many of them this war will be abhorrent. We are obliged to protect their rights, their equal civil rights. We seek peace. Our hands are extended to them in partnership to build our homeland. Citizens! Let us protect the honor of our young state. Each one of us maintains it with his behavior, his pure standing and his clean hands. Each one of us guarantees its safety and future".

Eight colorful drawings depicting the Seven Days of Creation (two different drawings for the Sixth Day). Two of the drawings are on tracing paper.
These drawings were used to prepare brass plaques decorating a memorial candle designed by Ze'ev Raban (today at the Short Hills community, New Jersey. See image).

1. Drawing for the lamp's façade. A triptych composed of depictions of the Maccabees' battles and the lighting of the Temple menorah.
Drawing: approx. 7X23 cm (leaf: approx. 14X31 cm). Attached to passe-partout. Good-fair condition. Folding marks, creases and slight defects. Stains (including light stains to drawing).
2. Drawing for lamp's reverse. In the center is the emblem of the State of Israel, alongside two figures: a soldier and a female pioneer, seated, with the national institutions and the Hebrew University buildings behind them. On the top margins, on the left and right, are excerpts from Israel's Declaration of Independence.
