A book in album format. The emblem of the publishing house, title page and 29 lithographs, are all by Issachar Ber Ryback (1897-1935).
On the first page - a dedication handwritten and signed by Ryback, from 1924, to "B. Reimann" (apparently it is Bruno W. Reimann whose article about Ryback was published in 1923 in the periodical Menorah).
XXXI, [1] leaves, 34X49 cm. Good condition. Stains. Creases at margins. The dedication is partly deleted. A purple velvet binding, slightly worn.

The dedication is signed: "Ryback and Rybachka: (the words "and Rybachka" were added, probably, by the artist's wife), and dated - Paris, March 12, 1927.

"Das Jahr des Juden" - a portfolio with a dozen prints by Joseph Budko (mezzotint prints and etchings). Accompanying the prints is a leaf with the print titles and an introduction by Dr. Karl Schwarz. Printed in 40 copies. The present copy is unnumbered (the colophon states, in pencil, "probedrucke" - trial print).
All the prints are signed by Budko (one is signed in Hebrew as well); some are marked "probedruck". Two are dated - 1917.
[5] pp + [12] plates. Inserted in a cardboard portfolio with parchment spine and corners. Prints in different sizes, on different types of paper. Each print is placed in a passe-partout, 31.5 cm. Good overall condition. Foxing to portfolio, to some of the passe-partout plates and to some of the prints. Creases and stains to accompanying leaves.
