Advertising poster for a screening of the film "Land of Promise" at the "Armon Theater" [the "Armon" cinema in Haifa]. No printer details, [November, 1935]. Hebrew and some English.
The film "Land of Promise" was produced in 1935 by Keren Hayesod and intended for distribution abroad as fund-raising propaganda for settlement in Palestine. The film was directed and edited by Yehuda Helman. The songs were composed by Nathan Alterman and Daniel Sambursky. The film was first screened in Berlin in May 1935 by the Zionist Organization in Germany. The Nazi authorities allowed it to be screened for Jews only, yet the film gained popularity among a non-Jewish audience as well. Later it was shown in the U.S., Palestine and Britain. In August 1935 the film won first prize for documentary films at the international film festival in Venice. It was distributed by Keren Hayesod until the 1950s, assisting the organization in collecting many donations from around the world.

"Competition Haifa / Do You Know these Trade-Marks?", poster on behalf of the "Zurah Advertising" company inviting the residents of Haifa to join a competition in which participants were required to identify the trademarks of Haifa businesses. Haifa, 1936. English and Hebrew.
On the left are 34 logos of various shops and commercial companies, and on the right are the terms of the competition and a list of prizes to be awarded to the winner.

The satirical weekly "Sikot" was published in the years 1940-1945, by Yosef Bass (1908-1995), caricaturist, illustrator, designer and architect, regular caricaturist for "Haaretz" newspaper for about 30 years. The weekly mostly addressed events in Tel Aviv, though it also included a section reviewing developments in the war in Europe.
