Two books of responsa - two of the first compositions authored by Rabbi Chaim Falagi, Rabbi of Izmir:
1. Lev Chaim responsa. Part 1, on Orach Chaim, with Tikun HaBayit [completions to the Me'eri commentary on Tractate Avot]. Thessaloniki, [1823].
2. Chikekei Lev, Part 1. Responsa on Orach Chaim, Yoreh Deah and Even HaEzer. Thessaloniki, [1840]. (On the margin of the title page is the number 3 - i.e. the third book by the author).
Two books, high-quality paper. Fair condition. Dampness marks and wear. Damaged bindings. Both books have signatures and stamps of Rabbi Moshe Chaim Weiss, rabbi in Kisvárda (Kleinwardein).

Fac-similes of Hebrew manuscripts, obtained at the Jewish synagogue in K'ae-fung-foo. Shanghai, 1851. Published by London Missionary Society's Press.First Hebrew book printed in China.
The facsimile was printed in four parts. Offered here are two volumes. The first contains two parts [Parshashot V'Ela Shemot and Ele Pekudei]; printed on regular paper.The second volume contains another part [Re'eh Anochi]; lithographed on thin delicate rice paper.
The K'ae-Fung-Foo community was the earliest Jewish community in China. It was founded in the 11th century and its synagogue was built in 1163.
The ancient manuscript copied in this facsimile was written in the Chinese writing technique which explains its similarity to Chinese calligraphy.
Approximately 20 cm. The volume on regular paper: [40] leaves. Stains, dampstains and wear. Fair condition, several torn leaves affecting text and open tears (most of leaf [37] is torn out). The volume on rice paper: [52] leaves. Thin delicate paper. Good condition. Many stains.

Detailed sketch of the Temple Mount, the azarot and the hechal, with the Temple vessels.
At the bottom of the map are explanatory notes, according to letters marked on various sections of the map.
"The appearance of the House of the L-d, the Beit HaMikdash… written here in Cochin by… Chaim son of R' Yosef [Chal]yagoa".
48X70 cm. Poor condition. Stains, wear and tears. Open tears and damages to text and to map (primarily to the lower-right section). The leaf was mounted on fabric and covered with parchment paper for restoration purposes.
