Copy no. 2 out of an edition of 15, with an additional color painting by Genin. The present copy includes an additional original gouache painting identical to one of the lithographs in the portfolio. Handsome parchment portfolio with gilt decoration.
Robert Genin (1884-1941?), Russian-Jewish artist. Resided for a long time in Germany (Munich and Berlin) and was a member of the Expressionist group Der Blaue Reiter (The Blue Rider), together with Wassily Kandinsky, Franz Marc, and others.

A short time prior to the Nazi rise to power he moved to Switzerland, from where he emigrated in 1941 to the United States, living there until his death.
