Three marriage rings. [Central Europe, 20th century?]. 1. Ring, 14 Kt. Gold. Surmounted by a delicate structure with an attic and four pillars in its four corners. Letters are cut, stylized, creating the inscription “Mazal Tov”. Height: 4 cm, diameter: 2.5 cm. Structure is detached. 2. Ring, silver (marked), gilt. Square structure with an attic, with roofing tiles. Structure is surrounded by miniature balls. The inscription “Mazal Tov” is inscribed in fine characters. Height: 4 cm, diameter: 2.8 cm. 3. Ring, silver (not marked), gilt. Ring is surmounted by a large structure, with balconies and a balcony-tower. Embossed on the ring is the inscription “Mazal Tov”. Height: 5 cm, diameter: 2.8 cm.

Rear cover of one watch is decorated with a repoussé image of Moses holding the Tablets of the Law. General size: 6.5X5 cm. Fair condition. Ornate trowel. Dublin, Ireland, 1892. Silver (marked); ivory handle. Ornate trowel inscribed in English and adorned with a vegetal pattern. Presented to John D. Rosenthal on behalf of the Dublin Hebrew Congregation in commemoration of the cornerstone ceremony for a new synagogue (Adelaide Road) on November 13, 1892 [5653]. Later, due to absence of worshipers, the synagogue building was sold. Rosenthal was an attorney and vice president of the Jewish congregation. Immigration of Jews to Ireland started in the early 1880s. In 2006 about 1930 Jews lived in Ireland. Length: 35 cm. Good condition.

Two Papier-mâché boxes with illustrations depicting Jewish scenes. [Germany, 19th century]. 1. Rectangular box. Illustration of a father hitting his son with a stick; next to them stands the mother holding a baby. An inscription below the illustration reads: “Chasten thy son, seeing there is hope” (Hebrew) (Proverbs 19:18). Length: 8 cm, width: 12 cm, height: 2.5 cm. Good condition. Some damages. 2. Havdalah plate. Czechoslovakia / Germany, 1928. Porcelain with printing in gold and in other colors, maker’s mark on the reverse. A fine illustration in the center of the plate depicts a domed Torah ark surrounded by an inscription in German and in Yiddish. Three stairs lead to the ark, covered with floral cloth matching the Torah ark curtain, with a red carpet in the center. On both sides of the ark, on brown pillars, stand two yellow Hanukkah lamps, with burning candles. The Torah ark features two dark brown pillars and a yellow dome with a wave-like ornamentation. On top of the dome – Tablets of the Law inscribed with the Ten Commandments in Hebrew (faulty) and two small Stars of David. The ark has a parochet (curtain) with a floral pattern and a matching kaporet (cover). Above the cover appears the inscription in Hebrew: “Know before whom you stand”. In the center of the Torah ark curtain appears a rectangle with a torah crown and the letters ‘ כ and ‘ ט and two hands with spread fingers - a depiction of the priestly benediction gesture. An inscription in gold, in German: “Zum 40 jahr jubiläum Des Klaus-Chors” [for the fortieth anniversary of Klaus-Chorus] and below it: “1888-1928”. On top, a Star of David and the common blessing “gut vokh und gut yor” [Yiddish: a good week and a good year]. Diameter: 30 cm. Good-fair condition. Worn letters and worn golden ornamentations.

Shabbat lamp and five goblets made of silver. Iraq or Aghanistan, [first half of 20th century]. Shabbat lamp is designed as a tray with a rod for holding, decorated with vegetal patterns and a Star of David at the top. Oil vessels, with pinched rims for wicks, are at the tip of curved arms. Five small goblets, on a leg with a round base, with two stripes engraved at the rim. Height of lamp: 18 cm. Height of goblets: 6 cm. Overall good condition. Bends and stains.
