"Contribute to the Ambulance-Fund / Palestine's Gift to the U.S.S.R'". A poster issued on behalf of "League V" for Soviet Russia. M. Shoham printing press, Tel-Aviv, [ca. 1942]. Hebrew and English. "Linol: Y. [Yossef] Bass".
A poster calling to contribute to the "ambulance-fund", assisting the Soviet Union. In the center of the poster appears an illustration of a mother and her son facing a blood-dripping sword and a swastika on it. On the lower part appears the inscription "Soldier of Red Army, Help!" (Hebrew).
The organization "League V" was founded in Eretz Israel in October 1941 to support the Soviet Union in its fight against the Nazis. The organization opened branches all over the country and raised funds to assist the Soviet Union. With the money raised, the organization acquired three well-equipped ambulances. In April 1943 the ambulances left on their way from Eretz Israel to Iran where they were handed over to the Red Army. 31.5X47 cm. Good condition. Folding marks and creases. Slight tears at margins.

A broadside printed on behalf of IDF during the "Ten Days Battles" (series of operations during the War of Independence). Reports from the battle fields and the situation in the country, with black and white photographs: "Zachlil armored vehicles conquer Lod", "Last British convoy leaves the port of Haifa", "Israeli navy in Haifa port on the day of oath", and more. On the upper part – map of Israel on which the area of Israel and the areas of battles are marked. 50X70 cm. Good condition. Folding marks and creases. Some damages at margins.

Approx. 185 photographs of objects made by "Bezalel": object from brass and copper, silver, Damascene craftsmanship, filigree, etched objects, and more. Some items are marked by catalogue numbers (equivalent to the catalogue numbers in the "Bezalel" catalogue published in Berlin in ca.1913) and next to some items appear measurements. The photographs are cut and pasted to the album leaves, some photographs are cut originally. 19 cm. Fair condition. Dampstaining, some photographs are damaged.

Upper band: "Yerushalem" (Hebrew) surrounded by fig leaves, grapes, pomegranates, palm tree branches and more (Seven Species). Center: decorated Star of David, in a stylized frame. In its center the spies carrying a cluster of grapes, inscribed "two carried the pole" (Hebrew) and "Bezalel". Lower band: The Seven Species. Height: 27.5 cm. Good condition.

In one of the illustrations Mordechai is portrayed refusing to bow before Haman. The illustration in color depicts King Solomon in his palace. 7 sketches, average size of leaf: 20X9 cm. Size of illustrations varies. Condition varies (overall good condition).

The illustration apparently depicts the scene when Avishag is taken to King David. To the left of the illustration appears a small decoration. An inscription appears on top of the leaf: "Book Illustrations" (Hebrew). [1] leaf, 17 cm.
3. Illustration for the Book of Kings B, chapter 25. Two figures stand in front (most probably Nebuchadnezzar King of Babylon and one of his soldiers), looking at Jerusalem besieged.
