One of the four literary anthologies published under difficult conditions in the Soviet Union, after the use of Hebrew was prohibited. The anthology includes works by young Hebrew poets and prose authors, who wished to express the new reality in the ancient language. A rare example of Hebrew creation in the Soviet Union. Printed in 100 copies only. Illustrated cover (illustration signed .י. א), Rare. 32 pp, 12.5X17.5 cm. Good condition. Significant foxing. Uneven edges. Professionally restored damages and tears to cover. In a nice cardboard case.

Dina Matus (ca. 1895-1940), painter and set designer, born in Lodz; a member of "Yung-Yiddish" group. The circumstances and date of her death are unknown. Apparently, she died in the Lodz Ghetto.
