"Davar LeYeladim" was a popular weekly for children, published between the years 1936-1985. The first editor who determined its spirit was Yitzchak Yaziv. The weekly supplies much information about children's lives in that period, as well as various sections: consulting, nature, school, poems, stories and series of comics illustrated by Areyh Navon. The volumes include numerous illustrations by the painter Nahum Gutman, the permanent illustrator of the weekly.
Total of 2223 weekly issues in 49 volumes, 25 cm. Ownership inscriptions. Overall good condition. Minor tears and stains. Only several issues are missing (volume 10 - issue 9, volume 11 - issues 21-24, volume 21 - issues 1-3, volume 25 - issues 47, 49, volume 35 - issue 15, volume 44 - issue 50, volume 46 - issues 44, 49-50, volume 48 - issue 52).

Copy no. 129 from an edition of 250 numbered copies, printed on good quality paper. All of the prints, except one, are signed and numbered in pencil. [38] leaves (19 double-folded sheets), 39 cm. Fine slip-case. Good condition.

Non-traditional Haggadah, stenciled, with illustrations. Printed on the reverse of bluish telegram forms of the Italian Governor in Libya.
From the Haggadah: "This night of the Holiday of Liberty, we sit together, soldiers of the Jewish Drivers Unit 178….news reached us about the Valley of Death in Europe…"(pp.3-4).
On p. 14 - illustration of Jewish Transportation Unit 178 Soldiers, sitting at the Seder table. On p. 22 an additional illustration of soldiers and an inscription "somewhere on the borders of the desert are Jewish soldiers" (from the song "On the Desert Borders"). For information about Transportation Unit 178, see enclosed material. [27] leaves. Some leaves were bound out of order; leaves 20-[25] are bound up-side down. 16X21.5 cm. Good condition.
