Includes an essay about the history of Silesian Jews by Dr. Marcus Brann, teacher at the seminary. *Printed circular concerning fund raising for the 70th birthday of the historian Zvi (Heinrich) Graetz, on behalf of rabbis graduates of the seminary and Jews of Western Europe, amongst them Solomon Buber (grandfather of Martin Buber), Zadok Cohen, chief rabbi of France, and others. Breslau, April 1887. * Statuten des Jüdisch-Theologischen Vereins [regulations of the Jewish Theological Seminary] – single leaf, folded into two. *Short report of the second convention of the Jewish Theological Seminary held on June 29 until July 1, 1869 in Breslau + short report with names list. Breslau seminary was the high seminary for training rabbis and teachers. The seminary operated in Breslau during the years 1854-1938. The seminary was mainly funded by the Jewish philanthropist Jonas Frankel and the director for a period of 20 years was Zecharya Frankel.

Items from the estate of Herta Hoffmann, owner of a motor vehicle trading company in Dortmund, Germany. Hoffmann immigrated to Eretz Israel in 1933 (with her sister Martha) and established a garage and company for importing vehicles at the corner of Allenby and Levontin Streets in Tel Aviv. Among the items: * Three diaries from the years 1934-1935, in handwriting, include precise details of private matters as well as trade details, applications to the German Immigrants Society, etc. An additional notebook, in which there is one page in handwriting with details of the location and size of the parking lot belonging to Mrs. Hoffmann. * About 30 documents of various types, bills and receipts, letters sent to Mrs. Hoffmann, visiting cards, and copies of documents and visiting cards connected with the business she ran in Dortmund. * Catalogue of Stoewer Company for manufacturing vehicles in Stettin, 1931 (with photographs). Leopold (Lipót) Lőw (1811-1875), historian and one of the first Neolog rabbis in Hungary. Lőw was born in Černá Hora (South Moravia), studied in several yeshivot and then studied philology, education and Christian theology. In 1841 started to serve as rabbi in Nagykanizsa, Hungary, learned Hungarian and was the first to introduce this language into the synagogue. Later on served as chief rabbi of Szeged. During the years 1858-1867 edited a Hebrew paper named "Ben Hananya" – journal of the reform Hungarian Jews. VIII, 123, [1] pp, 24.5 cm. Good condition. Stains, minor tears. Tears and damage to binding.

An extensive folder, including letters sent to "Chevra Kadisha" of Óbuda during the 1920s and 1930s, financial reports and budgets, names lists, letters from Jewish businessmen, several architectural drawings, etc. Most of the documents are handwritten and bear ink stamps of "Kehal Adat Yeshurun of Óbuda - Óbudai Izraelita Hitközség". About 250 documents, average size 34 cm. Generally in good condition. The collection has not been thoroughly examined.
