1. Passover Haggadah, 5 M.T. Jewish Transportation unit (Y.A.L.), Middle Eastern Forces. Field, 1942. The Haggadah opens with: "Tonight, while we celebrate the Holiday of Liberty…Egypt still exists. The universe has become Egypt for us…" A shortened Haggadah, written under difficult battlefield conditions, on the shore of the Red Sea in Egypt. On page no. 3 appears a reference to the German siege of Tubruk, a harbor city in Northern Lybia, close to the Egyptian border. The Haggadah contains parts of the traditional text as well as a text about the Transportation Unit. On the back cover appears an illustration of a Magen David and within it the writing Y.A.L. 16 pp, 16X21 cm. Good condition. Corner of one leaf is torn. Tears to spine.
2. Passover Haggadah. Jewish Transportation Unit 179, Y.A.L. Italy/Provincia di Foggia, [1944]. On page no. 8: "we are sitting together for a Passover Seder in Italy in the conquered city of Foggia, Jewish soldiers from Eretz Israel...and brothers who survived for whom it is the first Passover after years of suffering…we must remember the millions who were murdered…" On the back cover appears the unit's emblem (an encircled Magen David) with the writing: "Next Year in our Land!" on the lower part: "Published by the "Jewish Soldier" a bi-weekly of the Jewish Transportation Unit 178". [27] pp (page no. 8 appears twice), 16.5 X20.5 cm. Good condition.

Passover 1945. Jewish Brigade base and training center. [Egypt?], 1945. Non-traditional Haggadah. On the seventh leaf appear two "Yizkor" passages; on the eighth leaf the poem "MiKol HaAmim" by Nathan Altermann; on the ninth leaf the poem "LaMitnadvim BaAm" by Chaim Nachman Bialik. On the reverse of the last leaf appear a postage ink stamp and the address of the receiver, a M.E.F soldier (Mediterranean Expeditionary Force). On the front cover appears the Jewish Brigade emblem. [9] Leaves, 18X22.5 cm. Good condition. Wear. Folding-marks. Stains and creases.

Passover Haggadah. "Published by Kibbutzei Aliya of HaKibbutz HaMeuchad in Internment Camps – Cyprus". Cyprus, 1947. Hebrew and Yiddish.
Non-traditional stenciled Haggadah, with simple illustrations. A text in Yiddish is included, titled "Yetzi'at Europa", referring to the Holocaust and to Aliya; following it appears an illustration of the Cyprus Internment Camp. Further on appear a poem and text in Yiddish titled "Galut Kafrisin" and a Hebrew text which was most probably written in Israel to encourage the refugees in the camps: "….if ships carrying Jewish refugees are wandering – let them come to their homeland and be with us…". [1], [27], [1], 21 cm. Fair-good condition. Front cover, back cover and last leaves are detached. Tears to borders of first and last leaves. Bibliographically unknown and not listed in "Haggadot Kibutziyot" by Nathan Steiner.

Non-traditional stenciled Haggadah, with illustrations. Includes poems and texts in Yiddish referring to the Holocaust,the Internment Camps in Cyprus and the wish to make Aliya to Eretz Israel. The Haggadah also includes a variation on "Ma Nishtana", with reference to the war, the destiny of the Jewish people, the ghettoes and the "Cyprus Deportation" and mainly the aspiration for peace. Illustrations of the Cyprus internment camps appear on the cover, as well as a ship, a field and a water tower in Eretz Israel, and more. [20] leaves, 16X20.5 cm. Good condition. Minor tears at borders. Pasted tear to front cover (5 cm.) Several stains. Back cover missing (?).

Passover composition for Nir David, Nisan 14, 5702(1942), the third Passover since the bloodshed started, [1942]. Drawn on the cover is a Nazi boot with a swastika, stepping on a person surrounded by a heap of bones. Alongside various traditional songs appear texts referring to the Holocaust in Europe and to the moral responsibility for the fate of European Jewry.
On page 12, for example, the text reads: "only we, in Eretz Israel, could have saved Jews in Europe from the torture, the meaningless life while being choked in Ghettoes…with no solution. It is in our hands to turn the tears into blessing…"; on the last page: "this year the holiday is sad but next year the tree of freedom will blossom…". [1], 13, [1] leaves, 26.5 cm. Good condition. Front cover is loose. Foxing marks. Not mentioned in "Haggadot Kibutziot" by Nathan Steiner.

First Haggadah of" Kevutzat Revivim" established in 1928 in Rishon LeZion by "HaNo'ar HaOved" members, youngsters from Germany, Austria and Italy who were educated in Kibbutz Givat Brenner. The Kibbutz was established in 1943. The Haggadah ends with: "The Seder ended and as we are fortunate to hold a Seder we will survive and celebrate other holidays, happy with our children and our work and let this year bring an end to all of Israel's hardships and we shall be deeply rooted in our land". [1], 24 pp, 21.5 cm. Good condition. Minor stains and creases.

1. 1938 Haggadah. "HaBacharut HaSotzialistit", Magdiel [present day Beit Oren], [1938]. Texts for Passover, based to some extent on the traditional Haggadah. At the end appear four leaves depicting the conquest of Eretz Israel by the Jewish people and the redemption of the bare land. "HaBacharut HaSocialistit" was the young chapter of "Mapai" (and of "Achdut HaAvodah" prior to "Mapai"). Founded in 1926 in order to secure a political reserve amongst young people of 17 to 23 years of age. One of the training Kibbutzim of the movement acted in the "Moshavah" Magdiel. [1], 7 leaves, 21X16.5 cm. Good condition. Stains on front and back cover, missing snippet on the lower part of front cover.
2. Passover Haggadah. "HaKibbutz HaMeuchad", "HaBacharut", Borochov neighborhood, 1938. Non-traditional Haggadah, with illustrations. A particularly interesting and varied version. At the end – a title page and two leaves of the 1939 Givat HaShlosha Haggadah have been bound. [29] leaves, 16X20.5 cm. Generally in good condition. Filing holes. Tears to cover. Stapled with new staples. This is, most probably, the first "Bacharut" Haggadah. Not listed in "Haggadot Kibbutziot" by Nathan Steiner.

1. "Seder Leil Pesach". Genosar, 1938. Non-traditional Haggadah, with simple illustrations. On the third page appears an illustration portraying different soldiers: Egyptian, Greek, Crusader, Ottoman, British and Nazi – the British soldier is seen next to a barbed wire while the Nazi soldier appears next to a swastika [1], 20 pp, 21.5 cm. Fair condition. Front and back covers are laminated. Rebound with plastic spool. The 1938 Haggadah is not listed in "Haggadot Kibbutziot" by Nathan Steiner while the 1939 one is listed as the first Haggadah of this Kibbutz.

Passover Haggadah. Anglo-Baltic Kibbutz, Binyamina, 1940.
Non-traditional Haggadah, with illustrations. The story of the group appears in the end. Includes texts and songs about current matters. It seems that due to a printing error the leaves were bound in such a way that each four pages are printed on one A4 sheet, folded into two. The "Anglo-Baltic" group was founded in Kibbutz Afikim and established its own home in November 1938 in the Moshavah Binyamina. In 1941 the group settled in the Hula valley and later established K'far Blum. [1], 25, [1] pp, 23.5 cm. Good condition.

4. Song-book, "Moria", Passover 1949. Includes "Palmach Songs" and it is possible that it was used by the soldiers of "Chish "corps "Moria" (regiment 61) of "Etzioni" brigade. [1], 4 leaves, 16X21 cm. Good condition. Back cover missing.
