33 photographs documenting the founding of the kibbutzim Tel Yitzchak (July 1938) and Neveh Eitan (November 1938) as a part of the "Homa UMigdal" (Tower and stockade) campaign.
Kibbutz Naveh Eitan was founded by members of the Polish Benei Akiva movement; Kibbutz Tel Yitzchak was founded by immigrants from Galicia who belonged to the Noar Zioni B’ group of the General Zionists.
The photographs show the erection of the towers and walls. Also shown is a visit by Ussishkin on Lag Ba’Omer, and the participation of Abraham Hertzfeld in the founding of one of the settlements. A number of photographs document the settlement of Kibbutz Machanaim for the third time, May 1939. Most are described in handwriting on the pages on which the photographs are pasted. Photographs 10X15.5 cm. Pasted on black paper leaves 18X23 cm. Good condition.

Photo Album of a journey through Eretz Israel and Egypt, [1930s or 40s].
The album contains one hundred photographs of various sites in Eretz Israel: Jerusalem and the vicinity, Galilee and the Sea of Galilee, and more, portraying daily life in the country: workers, Jewish and Arab craftsmen, women and children. Some of the photographs were taken in Egypt and portray the pyramids and mosques. Photographs arranged in a nice album with an olive wood binding on which appears an illustration of Rachel's tomb. Photographs 6.5X8.5 cm. Good condition. Album 18.5X28 cm.

Two photo albums of a guard, member of “The Jewish Settlement Police” (JSP) in the 30’s and 40’s who later joined the Jewish Brigade, and fought in its ranks in the Middle East region. [1930s-1940s].
The albums include photographs of the above, during exercises, in uniform, on guard duty during the 30's, and later as a soldier in the Brigade in the mid 40’s. Apparently later he joined the IDF. One album contains two New Year cards for 1945, from the Transport Unit 462 (Royal Services Army), Cloth band of Israel Defense Forces (early), and various family photographs. About 125 photographs in two albums. Size average 6X8 cm (some smaller, some larger). Fair–good condition.

Large impressive album produced by a member of the Field Survey Company 524 of the Jewish Brigade. Egypt, Japan (?), and Italy [1944-1945]. English.
Much thought and effort was put in to this album and its design, and so it enables a look “behind the scenes” of the company, its existence and daily life. In addition to 170 special photographs pasted on its pages there are many ephemera items – travel tickets, cinema and theatre entry tickets, invitations to the company's Purim party, postcards printed in Egypt and Italy, New Year Cards of the company (1943), menu for a meal at a hotel in Egypt, etc. Also there are more than 20 caricatures drawn by one of the company. The photographs also are not standard and among others they show the company truck (with Magen David), the decorations for the Purim party, a visit to the Synagogue in Cairo (also shown is the Cairo Chief Rabbi holding Torah Scroll), the Jewish cemetery in Cairo, a visit to the pyramids, photographs of the Erev Rosh HaShanah (1943) Dinner, etc. In total the album contains about 170 photographs (various sizes) and tens of accompanying items. Album 33X44 cm. Good condition. A few stains in the margins, slight wear on the binding.

Photo Album presented to Mr. Shimon Levin, Chief Secretary of the "Hevrat Moshav Zekenim" Management. Tel Aviv, 1940.
The album, which was presented on the occasion of his daughter’s marriage, included 20 large b/w photographs, and accompanied by a congratulatory letter, signed by all the management and board of the institution. 16 photographs are portraits of the institution’s personnel, the additional are photographs of the elderly ladies (group photo), dining room and office, all pasted to the album leaves, bound in thick leather binding with brass plate inscribed: "Eliezer and Rivka”. Photographs 16.5X21.5 cm. Very good condition. Album 25X38 cm. (Light damages).

At the beginning of the album are 12 leaves of text, with the name “Megilat Yovel HaNassi” that relates the activities of Weizmann for the benefit of the Jewish People. In the album are 13 photographs of the ceremony held by the Ministry of Religious Affairs in honor of Weizmann. During the ceremony he was given a small Torah Scroll with a decorated cover, and a pair of Torah Finials by the first Minister of Religious Affairs Rabbi Yehudah Leib Fishman Maimon. [12] leaves + 13 photographs 17.5X12 cm. Good condition. Album 29X49 cm, Fair-good condition.

The albums contain numerous photographs portraying the activities of "HaShomer HaTza'ir" members in Lithuania in the 1930s. Some are group photographs while others portray the activities of members in "HaShomer HaTza'ir" camps; some of the photographs are annotated; "directors camp, 1930", "labor camp Galil D, 1929", "Trumpeldoria company, battalion D", "'Lamrot HaKol' camp", "'Yetzira' camp", "'Yochanan' company", "Kibbutz 'HaSolel'", "Kibbutz 'Shalshelet'", etc. Many of the photographs in the albums have been given to the album owner as souvenirs, with dedications from members in the movement (written in Hebrew or in Yiddish) as well as family photographs.
