Ketuba printed on thick parchment-like paper, on behalf of the New Road Synagogue in London. Decorated with a gate frame ornamented with flowers and leaves. Blanks are completed by hand. On reverse side, short summary of ketuba content in English, with date and names of bridegroom and bride filled in by hand.

Two ketubot from the village of Ayat-Yemi In Morocco. 1950.
Presumably, the husband wrote one of the Ketubot to his wife after their marriage. Both Ketubot are from the same husband to the same wife, but the dates and names of the witnesses differ. The first Ketubah bears the date Shevat 15, and the witnesses are: "Chaim ben Moshe Gabbai and David ben Shlomo Ibn Chamo". The second Ketubah is dated Adar 19, and the witnesses are "David ben Shlomo Ibn Chamo and Yitzchak ben Shlomo Yifrach"
In the text of the Ketubah, the groom undertakes "Not to take his wife from this town to another town without her willing consent, and not to marry another wife as long as he is married to this wife, in accordance with the accepted custom of today".

The Meintz family, an affluent family of bankers in Frankfurt am Main, was among pillars of Orthodox community of city. Rabbi Leib Meintz [passed away in 1822], his son Rabbi Moshe Meintz and his grandson Rabbi Yitzchak Meintz, were among exemplary personalities of German Jewry, great in Torah and financially wealthy. Supporters and leaders of Frankfurt, they were known for their greatness in Torah and reverence of G-d. Their instructions and rulings are mentioned in responsa books of rabbis of Germany [see attached material].
Rabbi Moshe Meintz (1805-1886) served as Dayan in Frankfurt, was involved in relocation of Rabbi Samson Raphael Hirsch to Frankfurt, however, later on rejected his decision to leave his former well-established community.
His glosses on the Shulchan Aruch were printed in the collection ‘Zechor L'Avraham’, section 1, Holon 1990.

Includes Seder Shel Pesach (Haggadah), calendars and charts for calculating tekufot and festivals, poems, laws of shechita [in Spanish], the order of the weekly Torah portions and a chronological list of events in the history of the Jews until the Cossack massacres in 1648-1649 [in Spanish].
On pages 300-303, is the version of the "hashkava" of those burnt in sanctification of Hashem's name: "The great, mighty, awesome G-d should avenge the blood of his servant (Ploni) who was burnt in sanctification of His Holy name and with His Mighty Arm should demand his blood from his enemies…".
