First translation into Hebrew of the utopian novel by Theodor Herzl, "Altneuland" published in German in the same year. About the meaning of the Hebrew title, written on page 80: "and Friedrich whispered: Tel-Aviv! (altneuland: Tel – ancient ruin, Aviv – rejuvenation, a new blossom, and this is the name of a place). – Yes! You aimed well. This was a barrow, ancient ruins, and now it is a place of spring and life. We established a new state on our land". Censor's confirmation of 1903 appears over the leaf of the title-page [it seems that this is a stereotypic printing made right after the first edition was sold out]. 319 pp [one leaf missing at the beginning?], 21.5 cm.
