Two photos portraying the first Fire Department of Tel-Aviv [1930s].
1. Firemen on the first fire-rescue apparatus in Tel-Aviv made by "International" [ca. 1930]. 11.5X16 cm, signed on the reverse "Plastica Tel-Aviv". Good condition.
2. Firemen on a fire-rescue apparatus, photograph by Rudi Weissenstein, [ca. 1935]. Apparently, this is the fire-rescue apparatus which has just arrived from London in 1935 and was named "Meira" after Meir Dizengoff. 21X18 cm, ink-stamped on the reverse with photographer's stamp. Good condition, creases and minor damages.

Three b/w photos of the old central bus station in Tel-Aviv, by the photographer Kurt Triest (1907-1985). Tel-Aviv, [1940s].
Construction of the central bus station was completed in 1941 and it started to operate in 1942. When it opened it was considered the most advanced bus station in the country and it encompassed service areas, underground passages and public services.
