Mishnayot Komárno, full set, six parts in six volumes, with commentaries Ma'ase Oreg, Atzei Eden, Pnei Zaken by Rebbe Yitzchak Yehuda Issac [Safrin] of Komárno. Lemberg, 1861, Rabbi Dov Luria and Rabbi Hirsh Shperlung Printing. [The first edition, with printers' logo – a sign held by a bear and a deer].
Author's introduction printed before Part 1 and Part 6; at the end of the introduction to Taharot he writes: "And I will copy the words of the Tosephta… and I will explain it based on Rabbeinu [Rambam] in the name of Ma'ase Oreg and Pnei Zaken, and afterward I will explain the mishna according to the way of Rabbeinu and based on the books of the Vilna Gaon… who has completely clarified it except in a few places where I have used our version, held by Rabbeinu and the Ra'avad and the Rosh". He means the book Taharat HaKodesh, Zholkva 1804, where the commentary and glosses of the Vilna Gaon were printed.
Seder Nashim in decorated leather cover. On title page owner's inscription in decorated Scribe lettering: "To Hashem the world and all therein, Yoel Adler Sofer son of Rabbi Aharon of Patzau" and stamp "Yoel Adler Sofer, Satmar". On last page of this Seder the prayer said for the dead after Torah study is written in pencil. Seder Kodshim has stamps "Mordechai Reisman, Nyirbater", "Akiva Roth".
Full set: Seder Nezikin has the rare addition of [5] leaves [on Avot Chapter 6], bound in the middle of Tractate Horayot and not at the end of the volume. In the beginning of Sedarim Moed and Nezikin there is [1] leaf and not [2], while in Seder Kodshim [2] Leaves are found instead of [1]. 28.5 cm. Varied condition from volume to volume. The title page of Seder Taharot is torn and partly missing.
