A Democratic Zionist newspaper publication from the day of Declaration of the State of Israel. Written on the title page "The vision of the Jewish state has been realized!" (Polish), in the background is an Israeli flag and the pictures of Herzl, Ben Gurion, Moshe Sharett and Yitzchak Greenbaum.
2 pages, 46 cm. Good condition. A fold across the width of the newspaper, few creases and foxing.

Ner, a bi-weekly journal for truth, love, peace and justice. 22 consecutive issues of the bi-weekly / monthly journal, edited and published by Yehoshua HaTalmi – R' Binyamin. Jerusalem, 1950-1951,
Yehoshua HaTalmi-Radler-Feldman (1880-1957), was known by his pen-name R' Binyamin, an author and a publicist, he fought for the improvement of the Arabs' conditions in Israel. The Ner journal which he edited was dedicated to the Arab question and severely attacked government policy on this issue.
Amongst the participants: Buber, Bergman, Simon, Ben Horin and others.
22 journals bound together. Good condition. The name of the journal was cut out from one of the issues and pasted on the cover. Ex library copy.
