In chapter 27 (pp.50-52) appears a letter by Rabbi "Yisrael Ba'al Shem of Tluste [Ba'al Shem Tov] to Rabbi Meir Av-Beit-Din of Constantinov [son of Ya'abetz], and Rabbi Meir's reply to Ba'al Shem Tov.
Within the book and on the binding there are handwritten glosses of Halachic and Aggadic Torah novellae. On last leaf appears an ink-stamp of Rabbi "Yossef Yitzchak Ben Shneur Zalman Tzirelsohn…".

Complete set of Jerusalem Talmud. Zhitomir, 1860-1867. Five volumes published by Brothers Rabbi Hanina Lipa and Rabbi Yehoshua Heshil Shapira, grandchildren of the Slavita Rabbi.
Five title-pages in red ink. Illustrations and decorations. On page 65 of Masekhet Shvi'it, there is a picture of Eliyahu’s Altar on Mt. Carmel, and on page 66 – a picture of Mt. Sinai with Tablets on top, printed upside-down.
Glosses upon margins of the sheets, mainly in the first volume.
38cm. Good condition. Dark stains and slight tears at the end of the first volume. The remainder of the volumes are in good and well preserved condition, worn bindings.
