Upon the title page of the book [personal?] inscription of poetic nature in Eastern handwriting: “To the young emissary, Pachat [acronym] Yitzchak, from the author”.
Rabbi Yehuda Nagar, among the greatest Torah scholars in Tunis, passed away in app. 1830. Corresponded with Rabbi Chaim Yosef David Azulai. From his many compositions, the books Limudei Ha’Shem, Ohalei Yehuda, Simchat Yehuda and Alfei Yehuda were printed.

The Gaon Rabbi Yitzchak Schwadron [1856-1920, Otzar Harabanim 11051], Av Beit Din of Chatzemir (Galicia) was the son of the Maharasham from Berezan. Emigrated to Jerusalem and remarried. The Ga'on Rabbi Ovadia Hadaya, born 1893 in Aleppo, moved at young age to Jerusalem. Of the heads of Yeshivat Porat Yossef and of Beit Din Jerusalem. Served as chief rabbi of Petach Tikvah. Member of Beit Din Gadol in Jerusalem. Established the "Beit El" Yeshivah in the new city. Died 1969. Author of eight volumes "Yaskil Avdi" book of responsum, and other books.

Rabbi Chaim Hirschenzon (1857-1935, Ozar Ha’Rabbanim 5961) was a genius rabbi and a knowledgeable author. He was among the most famous philosophers of the religious Zionism. Was born in Safed, and moved with his family to Jerusalem where they established the Hirschenzon Printing Press. Among the founders of “Beit Midrash Abarbanel”, which later on became the national library. He participated in the First Zionist Congress. Emigrated to the USA and served as rabbi in the city of Hoboken, New-Jersey. Wrote dozens of books, the majority of which dealt with the issue of the establishment of a Jewish state from a Halachic point of view.
