Copy of Rebbe Elazar Rosenfeld of Kaminka and Oshpitzin. Many of his stamps on the two title pages and additional leaves: "Elazar HaLevi Rosenfeld, son of the Rabbi and Tzaddik of Kaminka and son-in-law of the Rabbi and Tzaddik of Sanz, who resides here in Oshpitzin".
Rebbe Elazar Rosenfeld of Oshpitzin (Oświęcim; 1862-1943), youngest son-in-law of the Divrei Chaim of Sanz and son of Rebbe Yehoshua of Kaminka (son of Rebbe Shalom of Kaminka). Peer and student of his brother-in-law's son, Rebbe Shlomo Halberstam of Bobov (the first). Rabbi in Bochnia from 1885. Succeeded his father as Rebbe in Kaminka, and in 1907 moved to serve as Rebbe in Oświęcim, from which he is known as the Rebbe of Oshpitzin. He immigrated to Eretz Israel in 1936, where he established his Beit Midrash [the Oshpitzin Beit Midrash exists to this day on Chesed LeAvraham St., near Mea Shearim], yet returned to Poland just before the outbreak of World War II, and perished in the Sosnowiec ghetto.

Copy of Rebbe Meir Yosef Rubin of Kerestir. Inscription in his own handwriting on title page: "I purchased it... Meir Yosef Rubin, 5686 [1926]"; stamps on the endpaper: "Meir Yosef, son-in-law of the Rabbi and Tzaddik R. A[vraham] son of the Rabbi and Tzaddik Yeshayah Steiner – Bodrogkeresztúr".
Rebbe Yosef Meir Rubin (born 1899, perished in the Holocaust in 1944), third Rebbe of the Kerestir dynasty, son-in-law of Rebbe Avraham Steiner of Kerestir (son of Rebbe Yeshayale of Kerestir). Descendant of the Tzaddikim of Ropshitz, Zidichov, Premishlan, Lizhensk, Kozhnitz and Belz. He was appointed Rebbe in 1927 after the passing of his father-in-law, Rebbe Avraham of Kerestir. He was known as a Tzaddik and wonder-worker. The many salvations he achieved and his blessings that were fulfilled are recounted in the book Batei Avot (Part III – "Beit Yosef", Jerusalem 1965), written by his disciple R. Moshe Yosef Friedlander. He was accustomed to blessing everyone with "children, longevity, abundant livelihood and all good things".
