The book was written by Martin del Castillo, a Mexican, member of the Franciscan Church and a Marrano. Due to insufficient means for printing a book incorporating Hebrew type in Spanish America, the book was sent to Lyon, France for printing, and published in Madrid.
[24], 336 pp, 17 cm. Good-fair condition. Stains and creases. Tears to margins of a number of leaves. First four leaves partly detached. Vellum binding, damaged and detached.
