Issues of "Forverts" art section, dealing with theater, plastic art, culture and community which are outstanding in their impressive design. Large photos in b/w cover most of the leaves, accompanied by short texts in English and Yiddish.
The Jewish-American paper "Forverts" [Forward] was founded in New-York in 1897 and still appears (different format and different frequency). 24 issues (three leaves to each issue), bound in a new binding, 53 cm. Good-fair condition. Fragile paper. Tears (numerous tears are restored with adhesive tape), stains.
