Medals, plaques and a pendant in honor or in memory of the Jewish-Russian pianist, composer and conductor Anton Rubinstein (1829-1894).
1. Medal on behalf of the Russian Musical Society, on the occasion of Rubinstein's retirement.
Obverse: Relief of Rubinstein's portrait (signed), and the inscription "to Anton Grigorevich Rubinstein 1839-1889" (Russian). Reverse: Harp surrounded by a wreath and a ribbon witha music staff with notes , surrounded by the inscription "from the Russian Musical Society, in memory of fifty years of artistic-musical activity" (Russian). Diameter: 76 mm.
2. Medal awarded on the occasion of Rubinstein's retirement.
Obverse: Rubinstein's portrait. Reverse: A woman playing the harp with the inscription" in memory of artistic-musical activity, 1839-1889" (Russian). Diameter: 28 mm.
