Poster folded like a booklet. A caricature in color portraying Jewish stock brokers, cheating while in a crowded fair. On the upper part of the poster appears the writing: "Wem auch die Börse heiter scheint Das Auge Gottes darüber weint!" [atmosphere in the stock exchange market seems gay but god can see what is happening and sheds a tear].
The series of posters Politischer Bilderbogen which includes anti-Semitic caricatures was published during the years 1892-1901. A total of 33 issues were printed. 64X50 cm. Good condition. Tears to folds, some restored with adhesive tape.
