Anti-Semitic poster, an invitation to the "Grand Anti-Masonic Exhibition" in Belgrade. Belgrade: Beranek Press, [ca. 1941]. Serbian.
Colorful poster showing a Jewish man holding scales. One pan is loaded with the figure of Josef Stalin and the other with coins and bills. Beneath the illustration is a caption reading: "Who will win? No one! Because the Jew controls the balance. Visit the Grand Anti-Masonic Exhibition and see for yourselves" (Serbian).
The "Grand Anti-Masonic Exhibition" was an anti-Semitic exhibition shown in Belgrade from October 1941, funded by the Nazi authorities, in order to expose the supposed conspiracy of Jews, Freemasons and Communists to take over the world, and with the aim of stoking hatred towards groups opposed to Nazi Germany.
